Director, Career Development

Director of Alumni Events

Seton Hall University


About the position: The Director of Alumni Events will design and execute all of Alumni Relations’ events including the May Are One alumni gala, Golden Pirates reunion, Alumni involvement in Seton Hall (Homecoming) weekend, school and college signature events, the Young Alumni gala, the volunteer recognition dinner, and all of the remaining 100+ events throughout the year. The Director is responsible for planning, budgeting, managing and reviewing all these events. Student Services Specialist

About the position: The Student Services Specialist reports directly to the Director of Career Services. The role is multi-faceted and involves working with students, alumni, Union County Residents, and employers. The person in this role will assist and guide in developing individual Career Action Plans based on the assessment of their interests, values, skills and personality in alignment with the guided pathway for their major; pro-actively assist students and alumni in finding part-time and full time positions, as well as internships opportunities for academic credit and not-for-credit; assist in coordinating career fairs and/or specialized fairs and career panels. About the position: The Executive Director reports to the Vice President of Student Affairs and Services, and maintains a flexible yet intentional strategic alignment with Academic Affairs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Building on a team-centered approach, the Executive Director leads a unique distributed, cohesive, and collaborative Career Services Network which provides a seamless connection of career service professionals located in college-based and centralized career centers and hubs across campus.
