STEM Internship Coordinator
Saint Peter's University


About the position: Recently Saint Peter’s University has been awarded a five-year grant of $1.5 million by the National Science Foundation under the Improving Undergraduate STEM Education for Hispanic Serving Institutions program. Saint Peter’s received the award to support a five-year grant project, titled STEM Transformative Experiences (TREX). The project will provide high-impact internship experiences to STEM majors to enhance retention and graduation rates. The STEM Internship Coordinator will report into the Director of Employer Relations and work closely with the STEM Career Coach to communicate, advertise and recruit for the TREX program. The STEM Internship Coordinator will assist in identification and expansion of STEM partnerships, encourage and enable academically eligible students to participate and track student performance.
